Little
Ones
As little ones, our eyes would look out into worlds all our own. With
magic, gently our dreams were sewn. And when those Netherlands beckoned us
near. Quietly we followed, proudly, without fear.
There, we would climb
to the snow-capped mountain tips. Sail seas as captains of great big gold ships. Wed
catch rides on the back of a lone white dove And spend the night dancing with
the moon and stars above.
And so with jesters and clowns we created our
days Full of unicorns, faeries, and peppermint sleighs. With Kings and Queens,
munchkins and plays We ran through rainbows of chocolate-coated haze.
Do
you remember
Those days when your heart would dance and your spirit would
sing? Do you remember
That little one who still lies within? Do
you remember all those tomorrows Still yet to begin?
